Improvements to the Limber Pine Trail

Colorado Springs Parks Department Makes Needed Improvements to Key Portal Segment

During the summer of 2024, the Limber Pine Trail in the North Catamount Reservoir area received some big upgrades. This segment of the Ring the Peak Trail forms a key entry point for the RTP off Edlowe Road in Teller County. The trails has suffered from erosion due to a fall line alignment of the original trail built years ago. The trail was realigned to allow for better drainage and widened in areas.

TOSC will be working with various land managers to improve trail conditions on other portions of the existing RTP as continue to advocate for completing the Ring.
